Luke Overshiner is a Master’s student in the Marine Science and Technology program at UMass Boston’s School for the Environment, working in the Beacon Lab. He is interested in coastal sedimentary processes and understanding how storms, sea level rise and anthropogenic impacts affect the coast. He has been involved with drone imaging of the salt marsh and shallow seafloor mapping around Cathleen Stone Island. Luke received his BS in Environmental Science at Umass Boston.
