Fall is a season of change! For humans that might mean swapping T-shirts for sweaters and lemonade for hot cocoa – and for our local plant and animal neighbors, it means preparing for winter. Maple leaves turn spectacular colors, squirrels chow down on acorns, and many birds start heading south. We’re also starting to see new changes caused by climate change.

Visit some of our favorite spots around Boston Harbor and learn about the amazing changes happening all around us during autumn. Join National Parks of Boston naturalist Will Kaselow and the Stone Living Lab for the chance to observe local wildlife, explore the harbor, and learn about local science projects!
