This Stone Living Lab seminar will feature Nancy Pau, Wildlife Biologist at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service who will present on lessons learned from efforts to pilot and scale up innovative restoration practices in Great Marsh, Massachusetts.
Nancy Pau is a Wildlife Biologist with US Fish and Wildlife Service, working at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge on Plum Island. Her job focuses on making the Refuge’s coastal habitats more resilient to climate change and working collaboratively with the local communities to conserve wildlife and their habitats. Nancy has been actively working with partners to develop and scale up innovative restoration techniques. She enjoys blending science and community psychology to tackling complex conservation issues. Currently, she is working on logistics of implementing restoration and monitoring on thousands of acres of salt marshes, as well as providing training opportunities to early career conservation professionals.
