Sharing Nature-based Approaches with Communities
The Stone Living Lab, Woods Hole Group, Duxbury Beach Reservation, and MA Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) are partnering to offer a series of informational field trips for restoration professional, municipal employees, and community advocates. As part of a two-year CZM Coastal Resilience Grant, SLL staff and partners have created educational opportunities to support the needs of coastal municipalities and communities. After hosting a series of listening sessions this winter and spring, our team created a series of educational field trips to bring professionals into the field and share information about Nature-based Approaches (NBA), especially cobble berms, and coastal threats.
