The photos that helped us tell the stories of 2023 | WBUR

Perigean spring tides (also known locally as “wicked high tides” or king tides”) were back in full swing this year! The Lab held public programs at Long Wharf in September and October, and engaged students from Walpole’s Norfolk County Agricultural High School in November.

WBUR was also on the scene and caught this stunning photo of Rebecca Shoer, our Senior Program Manager for Education and Engagement discussing the phenomenon with students.

The photo was featured in WBUR’s “The photos that helped us tell the stories of 2023” round up, which you can read in its entirety here.
