Measuring Water Quality
Contained in PVC pipe and weighted to the sea floor, the water quality monitoring probe monitors water temperature, pressure, conductivity (salinity), pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), CDOM, chlorophyll, and turbidity. Data collected by the water quality probe track water quality over time, providing information on seasonal and annual changes in conditions due to natural events (such as rain), climate change, and Lab experiments.
