Daria Healey

Daria Healey has been supporting the planning and implementation of the Summer Teacher Institute since 2023, in addition to other summer programming. She is a PhD candidate at Northeastern University in the Human Behavior and Sustainability Sciences at Northeastern University. She received her Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Northeastern University in 2023 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Sociology from Boston College. Her work is centered in social-ecological systems thinking, investigating the influence of place-based learning on the development of human-nature relationships in environmental education.
