Francesco Peri is a Research Engineer for the School for the Environment at the University of Massachusetts Boston (UMB) as well as the Managing Director for the Center for Coastal Environmental Sensing Networks (CESN). Peri came to the United States from Florence, Italy in 1995 and completed a Masters of Science in Computer Science at UMB. Throughout his graduate career, Peri worked with various scientists and continued this endeavor upon graduation. His research interests include water level monitoring, wireless sensor networks, and coastal processes.
