Join us Thursday, February 20 from 2:00-3:00pm for our February Seminar, this month featuring Salem Sound Coastwatch’s (SSCW) Executive Director, Barbara Warren! Attend this free virtual event to hear more about the work Barbara and SSCW team are doing to protect and improve the environmental quality of Salem Sound and its watershed.
Barbara is Executive Director of Salem Sound Coastwatch, a role she has had forĀ 20 years. In addition to her role as ED, she is the Mass Bays National Estuary Regional Coordinator for the Lower North Shore. She has worked extensively with local municipalities on environmental issues on land and water and is sought-after as a speaker. Her special areas of interest are climate resiliency and nature-based solutions for climate adaptation. Barbara holds a BA from Wellesley College, MEd from Lesley University, and an MS in Environmental Science from Antioch College New England. She started her career in education and worked as a teacher, artist, and business owner before moving to the North Shore and discovering SSCW as a volunteer.
