Join us for our next Stone Living Lab Seminar to learn about how the Living Seawalls have affected biodiversity at project sites in Boston Harbor. We’ll hear from Dr. Jarrett Byrnes, Daniel Lopez, Melba Torres-Sosa, and Kirk Bosma on topics including site selection and panel designs, permitting, and the ecological impacts of Living Seawalls.

The presentation will explore questions including:

  • How were the Living Seawalls configured? What did we set out to answer?
  • How have the Living Seawalls impacted biodiversity so far?
  • How have the Living Seawalls affected bacterial biofilms?
  • How do different Living Seawall panel geometries affect biodiversity?
  • Do Living Seawalls help ocean life beat the heat?

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
